Obituary: Flora Myrtle Pulliam was born June ll, 1890 at Norris City, Ill., and passed away in a Wichita, Kans. hopital on Nov. 26, 1962, at the age of 72 years, 5 months and 15 days.
The family moved to Doniphan, Mo. in 1897. She was united in marriage to Barney R Pulliam on Dec. 25, 1907.
They moved to Harper, Kansas in 1922 where her husband was road master for the Santa Fe until his death in 1945. She then went back to Missouri to help care for her mother who resided in St. Louis. Later she went to live with her brother on the farm near Doniphan.
Years ago she joined the Methodist Church in Wellington, Kans. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Harper.
She leaves to mourn her brother, John Morris, Doniphan, Mo.; her sisters Ethel Powell, St.Louis, Mo. and Nancy Banks of Harper, Kans. many nephews and nieces and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at the Brownell-Wiley Chapel in Harper Thursday, Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ray Bressler, pastor of the Methodist Church in Harper, conducting the services. Burial was in the Wellington, Kansas Cemetery.
