on November 3, 1964, in Norman, Oklahoma. He attended school in Noble and Lexington, graduating
from Lexington High School in 1983. Following graduation he became an entertainer in Branson,
Missouri, performing with his brothers, Larry and Marty in their own show known as the Wilhite Brothers,
and later performing with other artists: Loretta Lynn, Christy Lane, Pierce Arrow, Conway Twitty and
many, many others.
After working through some very difficult and complex health issues, Jeff returned to Norman in 2007,
where he became very involved in his church and community, working with other people who were
struggling with personal or health-related issues. Utilizing his dynamic personality and compassion for
people, Jeff made a strong, positive impact on people wherever he had the opportunity to go, whether
it was in Norman or on a mission trip to Latvia.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Keith Wilhite. He is survived by his mother and stepfather
Betty and Jerry Winkle, of Norman, Oklahoma; one daughter, Brittney Wilhite of Hendersonville,
Tennessee; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Julia W ilhite and Marty and Kenya Wilhite, all
of Branson, Missouri; one sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Clint LittleJim, of Norman, Oklahoma;
two step brothers and sisters-in-law, Jay and Terri Winkle of Piedmont, Oklahoma and Craig and
Lenis Winkle of Edmond, Oklahoma; one step sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Ray Anders of
Norman, Oklahoma. He is also survived by a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins,
and numerous other relatives and friends
Jeff will lie in state at Havenbrook Funeral Home on Sunday, December 28, 2008. Family will
welcome friends from 6:00 P.M., until 8:00 P.M., on Sunday, December 28, 2008, and the funeral
service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, December 29, at Alameda Baptist Church in Norman,
with Pastor Phil Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow at the Lexington Cemetery.
