DOW W. WARD
//Dow W. Ward, prominent Gilmer county stockman and farmer and former bank director, died Saturay, Jan. 28, at 7:30 p. m. in a Parkersburgh hospital where he had been a patient for several weeks.
//Mr. Ward, a native of Barbour county, was born October 14, 1877, a son of Albert and Jemiah Anderson Ward, and was married Sept. 5, 1827, to Blanche Methews Southall, who survives.
//Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Helen Nicholas and a grandchild of Parkersburg, and one sister, Mrs. Flora Corkrean of Jane Lew.
//Mr. Ward operated an extensive stock farm below Glenville and for many years was one of the country's leading livestock dealers.
//Final rites were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Pisgah Methodist church, with the Rev. Robert B. Engle, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Pisgah church cemetery.
//McGee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
