Mrs. Olive Fordyce Haines, 88, of Waynesburg, R. D. 2, died at 8:15 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 1972 after a long illness.

She was born April 10, 1883 at Hargus Creek, Jackson Township, a daughter of Albert G. and Melissa Burge Fordyce.

Most of her life was spent in the Pine Bank Community but for the last 20 years she has resided in the Waynesburg area.

Mrs. Haines was a member of the Waynesburg Church of the Nazarene and also of the Woman's Sunday School Class. Prior to moving to Waynesburg, she belonged to the Pythian Sisters Lodge at Pine Bank.

Her husband, George Haines, died in 1935.

Surviving are two sons: Victor F. Haines, of Waynesburg, and William D. Haines, of Hawthorne, seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was the last of her immediate family.

Two sisters and four brothers are deceased.

Funeral services were held Thursday with burial in Pine Bank Cemetery
