Mrs. Mary Hart died yesterday morning at 11:30 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. I. C. Hess, Duncansville, of diseases incident to old age. Deceased was aged 76 years and was twice married. Her first husband, *David Myers, was killed in the Battle of the Wilderness, during the civil war and her second husband, Ellis Hart, preceded her to the grave on March 12, 1904. Mrs. Hart was a noble Christian woman and early in life became a member of the Baptist church. She was charitable to a fault, helping any who might ask. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, A. B. and D. G. Myers of Altoona, Mrs. M. F. Deamer of Unionstown, and Mrs. I. C. Hess of Duncansville. She is also survived by four step-sons, Blair Hart of California, Alex L. Hart of Nebraska, Ellis W. Hart of Youngwood, and S. K. Hart of Altoona; one brother John Haun of Orbisonia and a half-brother, Samuel Haun of Huntingdon.

The funeral will take place Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, services to be conducted at the house, interment in Carson Valley cemetery.
