Kent K. Ross, 86, a fifty-five year resident of Claremont, passed away peacefully December 31, 2007. He is survived by his two children, Stephen K. Ross of North Hollywood, CA and M. Lynette Ross of Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of fifty years, Elaine H. Ross, his parents Alva and Jennie Ross, his brothers Orville Ross and Willard Ross, and his sister Melba Borens. Kent was born in Midway, Utah and served in the Army during World War II. He and Elaine moved to Southern California in 1952. Kent was a master watchmaker and he and Elaine were co-owners of Ross Jewelers in Claremont for seventeen years. Graveside services will be at Oak Park Cemetery, 410 Sycamore Avenue, Claremont, CA 91711, today, January 3, 2008 at 1 p.m. Todd Memorial Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
