Funeral services for Mrs. Shelby Jean Amason McKee, age 72, of Elora will be conducted at 11 AM Friday at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Amason and Rev. Kenneth Basham officiating. Burial will follow in Flintville Cemetery. Mrs. McKee passed away Tuesday evening, December 30, 2008, at her residence.
A native of Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Mary Gladys Counts Amason, former Assistant Vice President of Lincoln County Bank, and a member of Flintville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son Dwight McKee and wife Debbie of Flintville, grandchildren Brandon McKee and fiancé Stacey Maddox, Steven McKee and wife Tiffany, and Katie McKee, all of Kelso, brothers Robert Amason and wife Judy of Lebanon, TN, Donnie Amason and wife Helen, and J.B. Amason and wife Christine, all of Flintville, brother-in-law Eugene Russell of Xenia, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by brothers Joe Edward and Harold (Doc) Amason and sister Venna Russell.
