Obituaries
Garland E. Dutcher, 61, California, died Saturday at Memorial Hospital here.
He was born Jan. 31, 1917 at High Point, the son of Horace and Irene Stevens Dutcher. On June 19, 1943, he was married to Linnie Porter, who survives at the home.
Mr. Dutcher was a farmer and an employee of the Dutcher Paint Company of California. He was also a member of the Main Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Bernadine Tambke, Russellville; four brothers, John E. Dutcher, High Point, Charles H. Dutcher, Wichita, Kan., Kenneth Dutcher, California, and Lester Dutcher, Independence.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Main Street Baptist Church in California with the Rev. R. C. Reichart officiating. Burial will be in the High Point Cemetery, under the direction of the Bowlin Funeral Home, California.
