Hannah Lena King Hayes,87, St. Clair, died in St. Clair on December 21, 1999. Hannah was born in Mt. Hope on December6, 1912, the daughter of Charles Edward Redhage and Lena Redhage, nee Banderman. On March 21, 1930, she married William Elbert King. On December 22, 1959, she married Henry Louis Hayes, known to most as Hank. Hannah is survived by two sons, Charles King and wife Dorothy, St. Clair and Glenn King and wife Toni, Troy; two daughters, Hilda Gamble and Carol Landen, both of Union; two sisters, Clara Brown, Independence, Kansas and Lillian Hoffmann, St. Louis; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren: two great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hayes; her infant brother Charles Redhage and one grandson, Steven Kelley King. When hannah was about 18 years of age, she joined Bethel Baptist Church of Lonedell, remaining a devoted member as long as her health allowed. During her working years, Hannah had been employed in the clerical department of Bussmann Fuse Co. in St. Louis retiring after 20 years of service. Visitation was held after 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, 1999, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home in St. Clair. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 23, at Bethel Baptist Church of Lonedell with Rev. Ben Kingston officiating. Interment was in Crestview Memorial Par, St. Clair. Memorials made be made to the Bethel Baptist Church of Lonedell
