Wilson Gulick Is Taken By Death
Funeral Services Monday Afternoon
A. Wilson Gulick, 82, retired farmer and farmer school teacher, died at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at his home one mile north of Pleasant Mills, following a heart attack.
He was born in St. Mary's Township Dec. 25, 1886, a son of Amos and Elizabeth Acker-Gulick, and was a lifelong resident of the township. His wife, the former Elizabeth Morgan, died Jan. 29, 1937.
Mr. Gulick graduated from Indiana University in 1896, majoring in history, and taught in the Decatur and Pleasant Mills schools.
He was a member of the Pleasant Mills Methodist Church, and taught the adult Bible class of the church for 41 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Hubert Ehrsam of Pleasant Mills, and one grandson, Roy Eugene Ehrsam.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the home and at 1:30 o'clock at the Pleasant Mills Methodist Church, the Rev. Seth Painter and the Rev. Russell Parsley officiating. Burial will be at Venedocia. O. The body will remain at the Zwick Funeral Home this evening and will be removed to the residence Sunday morning, where friends may call.
