David Otis Garrison Sr.
1939 - 2008
David O. "Pepaw" Garrison Sr., 69, a lifelong resident of Fort Worth, passed on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, to be with our Lord.

David was born Nov. 30, 1939, the youngest son of the late Dr. and Mrs. B.W. Garrison Sr., known as Pop and Mom. He graduated from Paschal High School and is an alumnus of Texas Christian University. He married Alicia Caballero on Dec. 24, 1974, and will be remembered as the best husband, father and grandfather who was loved by his family and friends.
"We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name; in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we can not see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again."
Survivors: His loving wife of 34 years, Alicia; children, Kathy Grace, Marla Apodaca and her husband, Terry, David O. Garrison Jr. and his fiancee, Kristina Lybarger; grandchildren, Shaleigh, Casey, Cheyanna and Hunter; brothers, Dr. B.W. Garrison Jr. and his wife, June, William Garrison and his wife, Dorothy; sisters, Corinne McCulley and her husband, Paul, Grace Clingman and her husband, Joe, Charlotte Perry and her husband, Don; and several nieces and nephews.
