She was born on Nov. 10. 1928, at Lonaconing, and was the daughter of the late George Knatz and Velma (McCormick) Knatz.
She was a member of Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Westernport. She was a 1946 graduate of Central High School in Lonaconing and was a member of the Tuesday afternoon Bridge Club. Alice and her husband belonged to the Oakland Country Club for many years.
Alice is survived by her husband of 61 years, Stuart McGreevy; her daughter, Patricia "Trish" Duckworth and husband Perry "Herb," of Warrenton, Va.; and her son, Jan P. McGreevy, of Keyser, W.Va. Nee Nee is also survived by her grandchildren, Chad Duckworth and wife Erica, of Fredericksburg, Va., and Perri Ann Sale and her husband Scott, of Partlow, Va.; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Beatrice Knight, of Pasadena, and Judy Voir, of Shelbyville, Del.
The family will receive friends at the Fredlock Funeral Home in Piedmont, W.Va., on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in St. Peter's Catholic Church in Westernport, with Father Jim Hannon as celebrant.
Interment will be in Saint Peter's Cemetery.
The family request that memorials for Alice be directed to St. Peter's Catholic Church, 127 Church St. Westernport, MD 21562; for the Bell Tower/ Roof Fund or to the Tri-Towns Rescue Squad, Main St. Westernport, MD.
