Elva I. Cornwell, age 94, died on Sunday, July 18, 2004, at Ruxton Health of Woodbridge. She was a lifelong resident of Triangle. Preceded in death by her husband Richard S. Cornwell, Elva is survived by her three children, Delores C. Hogan of Emerald Isle, N.C., Richard D. Cornwell of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Donald L. Cornwell of Triangle; sister Mary Nelson of Washington, D.C.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City, where funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 21. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas.
