OAKLAND – Elza Ola Biser, 92, of 506 Oakland Drive, died yesterday morning at his residence.
Born Feb. 8, 1889, in Eglon, W. Va., he was a son of the late Dennis Biser and Luciinda (Fike) Biser.
He was a member of the Oak Park Church of the Brethren and Camp No. 11, Woodman of the World.
Surviving are his widow, Lillie Florence Biser; six sons, Frank B, Biser and Doyle E. Biser, both of here; Kenneth U. Biser, Deer Park; Gerald A. Biser, Statesboro, Ga.; Marshall D. Biser, Kemp, Tex., and Warren H. Biser, Erie, Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Wike, Harrisburg, Pa., Mrs. Faye A. Schmidt, Swanton, and Mrs. Mildred V. Graham, Morgantown, W. Va.; six brothers, Osa Biser, Troy, Ohio; Alvin Biser, Tipp City, Ohio; Maynard Biser, Clayton, Ohio; Edgar Biser, Keyser, W. Va.; and Marrill Biser and Carlton Biser, both of Fort Meyers, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Edith Harsh, Wooster Ohio; 32 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the Oak Park Church of the Brethren Monday at 2 p.m. by the Rev Verne H. Leininger. Interment will be in Eglon Cemetery.
