Jessie was the fourth of eleven children born to the couple. She married John Osmon Cantrell in November, 1910. They had ten children: Vernon Taylor, Osmon Dyer, Ida Maye, Don Wesley, Louis Oran, Naomi Doris, Helen Louise, Betty Lou and Clifford Howell. Two sons, Osmon Dyer and Louis Oran died Dec. 10, 1922 when they were caught in a snow storm near Friona TX. Daughter, Latrell, died at birth.
Her siblings were: Clara, Rufus Harrison, Jim, Harry Roland, Charlie Martin, Lola, Johncy, Herbert, Dennis and Wesley James.
