Nels H. Book, 70 707 West Riverside Blvd., died at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, 1972, in Riverside Manor Nursing Home after a long illness. He was born June 30, 1902, in Malmo, Sweden.
Lived many years in Rockford coming here from Sweden. Formerly employed as a cleaner by Sno-White Laundry & Dry Cleaning.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. James (Phyllis) Hunter and Mrs Beverly Schurr, both of Rockford; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and two sons. Graveside services at 2:00 p.m., Friday in Sunset Memorial Gardens, with Major Robert Aliveby at East Side Salvation Army, officiating.
