Joan Carrie Weatherford was the daughter of Richard B Weatherford and (unknown) McMahan, residents of Fresno and later of Burney, California. Joan had a twin sister, Janette.

Joan married Phillip David Eoff, son of Coy Dee Eoff and Velma Mary James, January 28, 1962 in Carson City, Nevada. Joan was a resident of Santa Clara, California and Phillip of Redding, California at time of marriage. Joan and Phillip were the parents of Phillip Dustin Eoff and David Weston Eoff, born in Shasta County, California. At the time of his children's births, Phillip David Eoff was a deputy sheriff and detective sergeant in Shasta County, later becoming the Sheriff of that county. Joan died an accidental death at the age of twenty-nine years.
