Dovie Nina (Bowlin) Rhea, age 93, of Rogersville, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, when she received her call from the Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 5, 2008, to meet the loved ones gone on before her to ever be at peace forever more, at the residence of her daughter, Betty Bare.

She had asked Jesus into her heart at a very early age, in her very colorful and blessed life. She was a member of the East Rogersville Baptist Church. She loved being surrounded by her family and friends, loved reading her Bible, singing and praising the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Rhea; second husband, Broten Davis; and third husband, Henry Spears all of Rogersville; parents, Charlie and Minnie Bowlin; six brothers, Jesse, Mack, Ace, Cratis, Willard, and Lester Bowlin and their wives; a sister, Minnie Bell (Bowlin) Bean; daughter, Ilean Vola (Rhea) Mullins of Franklin, Ohio; great-grandson, Michael Ray Mullins of Franklin, Ohio; two sons-in-law, Hugh Kyle Bare, Jr. and Grover Mauk.

She is survived by one son, Homer Rhea and wife, Lou of Russellville; two daughters, Shirley (Rhea) Mauk Cross and husband, Roger, and Zelma Betty (Rhea) Bare all of Rogersville; one son-in-law, R.J. (Ernie) Mullins of Franklin, Ohio; she acquired 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Zelmer (Bowlin) Presley of Surgoinsville; many nieces, nephews, and special friends of the family, John Riley.

Special pallbearers: Grandsons, Hugh E. (Teddy) Bare of Rogersville, Bill Mullins of Franklin, Ohio, great-grandsons, Landon and Justin House of Rogersville, Caleb and Noah Russell of Church Hill, Eric House, husband of granddaughter, Shona (Bare) House of Rogersville. Honorary pallbearers: Grandsons, Lance Bare and James Mauk both of Rogersville, Ernie (Tank) Mullins, Gary Mullins, Kevin Mullins, and Mark Mullins all of Franklin, Ohio.
