Mrs. Edna Pecore died at the general hospital Saturday, Mary 30th. Mrs. Pecore has been ill for some time at the home of her father, G.M. Brown, 4 1-2 miles from Shawnee. They thought best to bring her to the hospital, but she only lived 30 minutes after she arrived there.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the home of her father, and interment was in New Hope cemetery. The family have many friends who sorrow with them in this, their hour of grief.
