HOPKINS, Carolyn Entered into eternal rest on the morning of December 25, 2008, Carolyn Boylston Hopkins, widow of Robert Matthews Hopkins. Residence, James Island, SC.

The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Saturday, December 27, 2008 at two o'clock in Citadel Square Baptist Church. Interment, Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Saturday between eleven and one o'clock.

Mrs. Hopkins was born February 6, 1913 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Walter Presley Boylston and Carrie Simmons Boylston.

She was a 1935 graduate of The College of Charleston and a member of Citadel Square Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters: Carolyn Hopkins of James Island, SC and Jean Hopkins Pfaff (Charles) of James Island, SC; one son: Robert Matthews Hopkins, Jr. (Theresa) of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren: Charles A. Pfaff, Jr., Robert H. Pfaff, Julia L. Pfaff, Caroline H. Coffron, Thomas H. Hopkins and Elizabeth F. Hopkins; and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crisis Ministries of Charleston, P.O. Box 20038, Charleston, SC 29413. (4A)
