OBITUARY

Harvey Moore, a highly respected citizen and member of the Free Methodist church for thirty-three years, died at his home May 17th and was buried on the 18th at the Old Rose Hill cemetery. Rev F.M. Smith, assisted by Rev A.E. McBride, preached his funeral. The procession to the cemetery was one of the largest we have witnessed for years.

Harvey Moore died at his home in White Oak township on May 17, of kidney trouble and neuralgia, having been ill about 2 weeks, aged 68years, 8months and 2 days. The funeral was held May 18 at the home:burial in Old Rose Hill cemetery. Deceased was born in Pennsylvania, but had lived in Iowa for 50 years. Among the remaining members of the family of the departed are his wife: George R Moore, & Willis Moore; Hetty Henderson, of Missouri;Dora Pearson, Cora Robbins, Ida Henderson, Viola Malone, Mary Moore, Stell Stewart and Mollie James, of Rose Hill.

The funeral of Harvey Moore was held at the family residence near Currier's Mill, on Friday at 10 o'clock. Mr. Moore was 68 years and 10 months old. He leaves his wife, two sons, and nine daughters. The funeral was preached by Rev. Smith of the Free Methodist church, assisted by Rev. McBride of the M.E. church.
