Dies June 8 at
Home of Sister
GAUSE---Joe Lee Baird, a Gause resident from 1935 until 1953, died June 8 at the home of a sister, Mrs. Minnie Varner, in Taylor after two year's illness.
Funeral services and burial were held at San Gabriel.
Mr. Baird was born at Lilac Nov. 20, 1895. Survivors include his widow, the former Clara Young, a Gause native, and five sisters, Mrs. Pearl Locklin of Austin, Mrs. Viola Hyde of Lockhart, Mrs. Minnie Varner of Taylor and Mrs. Claud McCoy and Mrs. Adell Bartlett of Rockdale.
