Andrew Franklin Wilson was born December 25, 1863, in Indiana and passed away November 26, 1932, at his home in Correctionville, Iowa, being 68 years, 11 months and 1 day of age.

When a year old he went with his parents to Kansas. Later he moved with them to Marshalltown, Iowa.

About 1885 he and his brother drove through to Marcus, Iowa, and for some years they operated a farm in that community.

In 1880 he was married to Sadie Bass. She died some years later.

Mr. Wilson came to the Correctionville community about 1900 and was engaged with C. Butler in the furniture business and funeral directing. Thirty-two years ago he took over the business for himself and has since proved one of the town's most respected businessmen.

He has given much service to the community in times of sickness and death.

He was married to Daisy R. Barker on June 1, 1910.

Together they have worked and shared the joys of life and cares of business in faithful cooperation.

Besides his widow he leaves five sisters and two brothers with many other relatives and friends. His brothers and sisters are: Mrs. Asenath Andrews of Whittier, California; A.E. Wilson of Whittier, California; Mrs. Sarah Zimmerman of Marcus, Iowa; A.C. Wilson of Brookings, South Dakota; Mrs. Emma Osborne of Vermillion Grove, Illinois; Mrs. Ida Brown of Marcus, Iowa; and Mrs. Bertha Evans of Elliott, North Dakota.

His father, mother, two sisters and an infant brother have preceded him in death.

He has been a member of the local Methodist church for fifteen years. He was a member of A.F. and local Masonic Lodge No. 474, the Order of Eastern Star, the Odd Fellows Lodge, Yeoman and both State and National Funeral Directors Assn.

Services were held in the Methodist church Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. K.W.G. Hiller and Rev. J.S. Deedrick in charge. Lodge services were held following the church service at the graveside.

Interment was made in the local cemetery under direction of Hudgel & Son of Anthon, Iowa, lifelong friends in cooperation with Mr. Wilson in Funeral Directing.
