Mrs. John Loucks
At the home of her son, Orville Loucks, of Antis township, near Bellwood, Martha Ann, widow of John Loucks died of heart trouble Friday morning. Mrs. Loucks, whose maiden name was Miller, was born February 13, 1856. She was widely known, having spent most of her life in this region. Her church membership was in the United Brethren church at Bellwood, and in that faith she died. Surviving are the following children: Orville, Mrs. May Caswell, Fred, Mrs. Grace Dewitt, Mrs. Josephine Gummo, Ernest, all of Bellwood; Mrs. Dora Young of Toledo, Ohio. Twelve grandchildren survive, also these brothers and sisters: John, Roe, James, William, and Daniel Miller, all of Bellwood; Mrs. Bessie McCracken, of Altoona; Mrs. Edith Arnold of Harrisburg; Mrs. Jennie Mills of Kittanning. Funeral service will be held in the United Brethren church at Bellwood Monday. Interment in Logan Valley cemetery.
