He married Sandra Gayle Stovall Covington on December 31, 1999 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Covington passed this life on December 24, 2008 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 62 years, 9 months, and 20 days. Survivors are: wife: Sandra of the home; 1 daughter: Karie Ross of Sallisaw, Oklahoma;2 sons: Robert and Randy Covington of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; 1 step son: Donnie Pressley, Jr. of Roland, Oklahoma; 1 step daughter: Lisa Russell of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; 9 grandchildren; 3 sisters: Darlene Hughes of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Shirley Slay of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Bea Martin of Bakersfield, California; 2 brothers: Lewis Covington of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, James Covington of Burney, California. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1st wife: Barbara Kay Covington. Services will be Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008 graveside at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma with the Rev. David Clewell officiating.
