OBITUARY

Elizabeth Lutz was born in Wisconsin, April 30, 1857. She died at Avoca, Kansas, January 29, 1924. She came to Kansas with her parents at the age of only a few weeks and settled on a farm north of Holton, Kansas.
Elizabeth Lutz was united in marriage with Jacob Senner in 1883 at Holton, Kansas. They located in the western part of Jackson County in the home in which they both died.
This union was blessed with five children, all of whom are living except one daughter, Clara, who preceded her mother several years ago. Her companion passed to the great beyond nine years ago, dying in 1915. Mrs. Senner is survived by four children; John of Hollis, Kansas; Flora of Kansas City, Missouri, Ella and Fred of Havensville, Kansas. She also leaves thirteen grandchildren, six sisters and four brothers.
Mrs. Senner united with the Evangelical Church at Holton in her girlhood. She later become affiliated with the Methodist Church at Avoca, Kansas. She was a devoted mother and always manifested a deep interest in the welfare of her neighbors and friends.
The funeral was held at the Bucks Grove church and body laid to rest in the Bucks Grove cemetery.
