Husbands-

Catharine's first husband was Michael Rudisill, and married June 14 1810 in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Hanover, York County, Pennsylvania. Michael married at age 21, and died of cancer on November 8th, 1823, being only 34 years old. Catharine later married Mathias Shue.

Parents-

Catharine Krumbine aka Grumbine was the daughter of Captain Peter Krumbine aka Krumbein, born Jan. 17th, 1761, and died in Hanover, Pennsylvania, December 22nd, 1851. Late relatives stories and research list Peter buried in the church yard of St. Matthew's Luthern Church near his wife Catherine; who was born April 4th, 1765 and died September 14th, 1832, and was Catharine's mother. Peter was said to be a Hanover Revolutionary hero having enlisted at the age of sixteen, taking the place of his father Leonard, who was drafted.

A special note to family: PETER Krumbine aka KRUMBEIN is listed on FAG at Indiantown Gap Cemetery. I linked his daughter to him, and my requested photos for inscriptions were added by a volunteer. Record lists Peter Krumbein Apr. 1761 Dec. 1851 Private, Seely's Co., 5th PA Regt., CONT Army, 1778- 1779. James Henry Martin, James Jefferson Rudisill. Indiantown Gap is a memorial remeberance.
St. Matthew Luthern Church Cemetery was dismantled and moved in 1973. (Dup. FAGs 89580014 Peter and wife 89580197)
