Augusta, Ill., June 7 -- Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Almeda Rose, who died in Quincy Monday, will be held at the home here, Thursday, at 10 a. m., conducted by the Reverend D. V. Gowdy, of the Soldiers' Home. Burial will be in the Augusta cemetery.

~~A Life Long Resident of Augusta Gone~~
Mrs. Rose, known here as Mrs. Beaman died Monday, at home of Daughter in Quincy.
Mrs. Rose, known here as Mrs. Almedia Beaman and a life long resident of Augusta departed this life Monday, June 5th at 5:00.
Her death came after many months of suffering from cancer and other complications.
She was one of twins born in Augusta to Joseph and Abbie Fosdyck, Feb 16, 1861.
She grew to womanhood in Augusta and was married and remarried several times, but practically all her life was spent in Augusta. She at times made the Soldiers and Sailors Home in Quincy her home.
Her last marriage was to Mr. Rose who survives her.
She leaves besides her husband, 2 daughters, Mrs. Flossie Daugherty of Quincy and Mrs. Gladys Osterman of La Paririe; 3 sons, Bonnie McCan of Hamilton, Floyd and Hazel "Davie" Beaman of Carthage, 2 sisters, Mrs. J.P. Browning, twin sister, Mrs. Kay Hedrick, both of Augusta, 3 brothers, Rufus Fosdyck, E.P. Fosdyck, Oakley Fosdyck of Augusta and many other relatives about Augusta.
The funeral services were held this morning at her residence in Augusta, conducted by the Chaplain of the Soldiers and Sailors Home of Quincy and the remains were laid to rest in the Augusta Cemetery.
