Mrs. Catherine Myrtle Langham, widow of Joseph H. Langham, died suddenly Saturday afternoon, Dec. 20, 1947, at 2 o'clock at her home, 207 East Third Avenue/ Altoona. She was born in Huntingdon County June 21, 1876, the daughter of George P. and Catherine (Mouse) Gillespie. Her husband died Dec. 20, 1017, exactly 30 years ago to the day.
Surviving are three sons and two daughters, Solomon, at home; Mrs. Pearl Figart, Mrs. Grace Parsons, E. J. and M. J. Langham, all of Altoona; 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a sister and one brother, Mrs. Dollie Courson and William Gillespie, both of Altoona.
Mrs. Langham was a member of the First Church of Christ, Altoona.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Stevens Memorial Chapel, Altoona, in charge of the Rev.Walter E. Brown. Interment in Carson Valley cemetery.
Friends are being received at the N. A. Stevens mortuary, Altoona
