Hi, I ran across this and thought it just might be your David as no one knew when he was born and does not have any other King family in this cemetery.

KING, David 27 Oct 1902 Palisade, NV Palisade Cemetery

Northeastern Nevada Museum, Elko County Death Records.

After receiving this email, a search brought two interesting results:
Interment.net has a submission with a transcription of stones for this cemetery done in 2004, which includes
King, Dan d. 27 Oct 1902

I think this is the same individual with a transcription error.
