Lucille Alma Keys died Saturday morning, July 26, 2008 in Tulsa at the age of 89 years. She was born October 23, 1918 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to William Otto and Nancy Elizabeth Banning and was raised on a farm in the Porter area. Lucille married Lawrence Keys who preceded her in death December 5, 1988. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her infant daughter, Sondra Lynn, her half brother, Clydie Smith and her half sister, Estes Dennison. Lucille worked various jobs including the powder plant in Pryor during the war and as a seamstress for a sewing factory in Muskogee. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, crocheting and spending time outdoors camping and fishing. Lucille is survived by her daughter, Linda Crawford and husband, Paul, of Wagoner; her sons, Alfred Keys and wife, Nancy of Claremore and Jackie Ray Keys and wife, Durenda of Coweta; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 AM, Wednesday, July 30, 2008, in the Hersman-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Carl Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Porter.
