Claude Sublett was born to John Green "Fighting Jack" and Sarah "Sallie" T. Barnes Sublett. According to my sources, these were his siblings: James Alvin, John Samuel, William R., Nancy Lee "Nanny", Thomas Abram "Abe", Jay E."Jabe", Annie, and Joab S. He shares a dual headstone with his brother James Alvin Sublett that says "Brothers". According to his death certificate he was a trapper and passed away at the age of 56 years and 8 months due to angina pectoris and arteriosclerosis. His death certificate says he was widowed and had once been married to Lillie Thornton. (Side story: This is the great-great uncle that I had always heard about that lived in a cave in Rocheport as a hermit.)
