Sept. 1, 2005 at age 64.
Charlie was a member of the Blanchester Village Council, he helped form the first Life Squad of Blanchester in 1969, and the Blanchester-Marion Township Joint Fire District in 1976, where he has served as a Batallion Chief, he was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 2222.
