WAYNE BAKER AILES, 94, of 2028 Old English Court passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at 8:15 A.M. at his residence.
He was born on January 2, 1914 in Anna, Ohio, the son of the late Sidney and Lina (Baker) Ailes. On March 3, 1946 he married Frances Imhoff who survives along with three daughters, Mrs. Joe (Maureen) Sargeant of Anna, Mrs. Christopher (Lois) Miller of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mrs. Dr. James (Gina) Schmitt of Fort Thomas, Ky., fourteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren: One brother Ned Ailes of Pemberton ,and one sister May Bess Spillers of Covington, Ohio also survive. He was preceded in death by one brother, John Ailes and one sister, Clara Paul.

Wayne was a member of Sidney First United Methodist Church, a U.S W.W.II Army Air Force Veteran, a member of Stokes Lodge 305 Free and Accepted Masons in Port Jefferson, Dayton Valley of the Scottish Rite, Antioch Shrine Temple in Dayton and Sidney Gateway High 12.
Wayne's hobbies were fishing, hiking, and operating his ham radio.

Mr.Ailes was a retired Electrical Engineer for the former Monarch Machine and Tool Company.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 A.M. from the Cromes Funeral Home 302 S. Main Ave. with Pastor Mark Franco officiating.
Burial will be at Glen Cemetery in Port Jefferson. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of the service..
Masonic Memorial Services will be held at 10 :15 A.M. at the Funeral Home.
