ARNOLD Jerome Clayton - Suddenly, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Friday December 19, 2008, at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of Eva (nee Ropp) for 35 years. Fondly remembered by sister, Mary Arnold and by brother, Edwin Arnold. Predeceased by sister, Rita Webber, and by brothers, Wilfred, Clayton, Lawrence, Alfred and Alex. Predeceased by parents, Eugene Arnold and Magdalena (nee Eberling). He is survived by sisters-in-law, Nancy McKnight (Murray) and Edith Arnold. Predeceased by sisters-in-law, Betty and Mary. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Will also be fondly remembered by brothers-in-law, Norman Ropp (Maryann), Dan Ropp, and Alvin Kennell and by sisters-in-law Katie, Kuepfer (John), and Laura Noll. Predeceased by sisters-in-law, Tillie Kennell, Shirley Ropp and by brother-in-law, Leo Noll. Survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Jerome was a retired employee of Uniroyal Ltd. where he worked for 28 years. Visitation will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener, on Tuesday from 11-1 p.m. Service to follow in the chapel on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Reception will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre immediately following the service. Interment Williamsburg cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
