Blaylock Funeral
Friday at Hammon
Funeral services for Jefferson D. Blaylock, 78-year-old farmer living northwest of Hammon, were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the family home. Mr. Blaylock died at 9 p.m. last Thursday following an illness since February.
He was born March 10, 1861, in Tennessee, and died August 3, 1939. He was married in Georgia to Miss Nancy Ray, and they moved to Roger Mills county in 1907. Mrs. Blaylock preceded him in death in 1918.
Survivors are five sons and one daughter, R. Blaylock, Albuquerque; N. D. Blaylock, C. J. Blaylock, J.J. Blaylock and Leroy Blaylock, all of Hammon; and Mrs. Sally Mullins, Moorewood.
Rev. W. R. Trent was in charge of the funeral service. Burial was in the Barker cemetery northwest of Hammon.
