Clarence L. Miller, 88, of Myerstown, Pa., died Friday, December 12, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, Pa. He was the husband of Kathryn S. (Spitler) Miller to whom he was married 62 years on June 1. Born in Myerstown, Pa., on May 20, 1920, he was the son of the late George and Maggie (Hibshman) Miller. He was a 1938 graduate of Myerstown High School and was employed at Sterling Drug Co., Myerstown, for 35 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of Myerstown Church of the Brethren, Marion Senior Citizens and the Retired Steelworkers of America. He enjoyed gardening, golfing and traveling. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Gary, husband of Susan Miller of Lititz, Pa.; grandsons Steven Miller of Pittsburgh, Pa., Trevor Miller of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Mark Miller of Philadelphia, Pa.; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 18, 2008, at 11 a.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, Pa. Viewing Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment at Friedens Memorial Park, Myerstown, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made Myerstown Church of the Brethren, 51 W.
