Roy W. Schiele, 80, of Durant, former owner of the Durant bottling Works, died Monday in his home after a six-month illness.
Mr. Schiele had retired from the bottling works nearly 30 years ago.
A native of Montpelier, he served in World War I.
In 1919 Mr. Schiele married Alma Werner in Davenport.
Surviving are his wife and two brothers, Harry, Davenport and Arthur, Durant.
A daughter, Ruth Ann, died in 1923.
