Elizabeth Hatch Warner passed away peacefully on December 17, 2008 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She resided at 363 North 300 East in Nephi, Utah at the time of her death.


She was born July 21, 1923 in Scipio, Utah to Marvin Muir and Freda Henrietta Olsen Hatch. She was educated in Scipio and Fillmore.


She married her sweetheart Farrel R. Warner on August 21, 1941. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. They lived in Ogden, Hatch, Scipio and Fillmore before settling in Nephi. She was a devoted mother to her three children.


She enjoyed working for several years as a school lunch worker at Millard High School and Nephi Elementary School. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in her ward as a visiting teacher and also a Relief Society President. She also enjoyed the time she served working in the LDS distribution center in Nephi.


Beth loved to crochet and spent many hours making hot pads and afghans for family and friends. She loved to cook and her meals were always delicious. She loved to watch sports, especially the Jazz.


Fishing and camping with her family was so enjoyable to her. She was a people person and enjoyed being with family and friends. She was happiest when her children and grandchildren came to visit. When her family was happy, she was happy.


She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter-in-law Sharon Warner, sisters: Mariam Tuttle, Ethel Robbins, Gladys Stone, Donna Nielsen, Marva Shepherd and brother Marvin Lloyd Hatch.


Beth is survived by her children, Farrel Morgan, West Valley; Vicky (Brent) Taylor, West Valley; and Dan (Lynette), Nephi, Utah. 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchild ren, one great-great grandson, one sister, Esther Memmott, Scipio, Utah, and many extended family members. She expressed deep gratitude to all those who took care of her during her illness. She appreciated all of her special hospice caretakers.


Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 12:00 Noon in the Nephi 5th Ward Chapel, 345 East 500 North, where a viewing will be held from 10:00-11:30 a.m. prior to the services.
Interment will be at Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery.
