Carolyn (McKenna) Bergenstock, 69, of Vineland, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, at the Bridgeton Hospice Center.

Born in Macomb County, Mich., she was the daughter of Bruce and Virginia Denison. In addition to her friends and family, whom she loved and adored, she enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, cards and listening to Elvis.

She is survived by her daughters, Anne Ludwig and her husband Paul of Vineland, Alice Jester of Franklinville and Christine Bergenstock of Williamstown; two sisters, Verna Smith of South Carolina and Jean Miner of California; grandchildren, Sharon, Jessica, Linnea, Bryon, Jolene, Andrew, Steven, Angel, Phillip, Amber, Cheyenne, Mikayla, Christy Leigh and Sean; great-grandchildren, James, Patrick, Nathaniel and Theodore Jr.; and nephews, Troy and Todd.

Her husband, Robert Bergenstock; daughter, Kathleen McKenna; and a son, Phillip McKenna Jr., predeceased her.

Services will be held on Friday at the Adams Funeral Home, 111 S. Main St., Elmer, NJ 08318. The viewing will begin at 2 p.m. with the service to follow at 3 p.m.

Interment will take place at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.

The family has suggested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
