Mrs. S. E. Watts funeral service held on Sunday.
Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Purvis First Baptist Church for Mrs. S. E. Watts, 74, of Purvis, who died Thursday at Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Rev. Warren Langworthy and Rev. M. H. Wells and Rev. Troy Sumrall officiated. Burial was in the Presley Watts Cemetery at Sumrall with Hulett Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Watts had lived in Purvis for 30 years, and formerly lived in Sumrall. She was a member of Purvis First Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were Clyde Sumrall, Hinson Sandifer, James Mangum, Verbon Cox, L. D. Jarvis, and Jim Dyar.
Honorary pallbearers were T. A. Cole, Charles Roseberry, R. I. Martin, C. E. Wilson, Virgil Lott, Clyde Murray, Henry Dobson, Pitts Ladner, L. V. Murray, Oscar Carroll, A. D. Entrekin, Dr. Bob Parker, Odis Cameron, Damon Palmer and James Salter.
Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Leroy Graham, Sumrall and Mrs. Arthur Moore, Seminary; three sons, Vernon P. Watts, Purvis, E. H. Watts, Elyria, Ohio, and T. D. Watts, Wichita, Kan.; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. B. J. Rayborn, Sumrall, Mrs. Mack Lowrey, Petal, and Mrs. Ota Shelton, Ethelville, Ala.
