Ruby C. Besecker-Scholl, age 91 of Greenville, Ohio died at 12:19 P.M. on Friday, December 19, 2008 at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville. Ruby was born September 3, 1917 in Darke County, Ohio to the late Francis & Dora Lucinda (Paulin) Seman. Ruby was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Greenville. She was a Graduate of Greenville High School, Class of 1935. She was a member of Alpha Delta Omega Sorority Beta Chapter; member of the Extension Club; Greenville Senior Citizens; and the Wayne Hospital Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, Ruby is also preceded in death by her step mother, Imogene Seman; 1st husband, Berman Besecker; 2nd husband, Robert Scholl; son, Berlin B. Besecker; brothers, William Arden, Versal Toby, Ivan and Elgar Seman; sisters, Dana Gower, Myra Hupe and Beatrice Loxley; step brother, Heath Paulin; and step sisters, Greeta Peden and Dorothy Garvey Lenker.

Ruby is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Keith (Karen) Besecker of Arcanum, Ronald T. (Diana) Besecker of Miami, Florida, and Ted (Jane) Besecker of Jacksonville, Florida; daughter & son-in-law, Carol (Walt) Hill of Crossville, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Lou Besecker of Arcanum; step son, Kenneth Scholl of Clermont, Florida; step daughters, Lenora Alice Harris of Greenville and Marianna McNutt of Greenville; 13 grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren, and many great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Olive Lenane of Bonita, California; and many nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Alecia Schroedel officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery in Darke County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
