"Anson Knight, formerly a resident of Neversink, died at the home of his nephew in Middletown on Monday of cerebal apoplexy at the age of 71. Mr. Knight conducted the farm just this side of the old covered bridge over the Neversink until three years ago when he moved to Middletown to live with his nephew. He was born in Neversink on September 18,1854. He was twice married, his last wife being Virginia May Davenport who died in April, 1922. Funeral services were held from the Methodist Church at Neversink Thursday afternoon at 1pm with the Rev. O.D. Dooley of Hurleyville officiating. Internment was made in the Neversink Cemetery . Two brothers survive."
