- Myron McLean Howard, age 93, of The Summit in Kings Mountain, formerly of Denver, died Thursday, December 18, 2008. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Carol Clark officiating. The family will receive friends 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
-Mr. Howard was born September 26, 1915 in Lincoln County to the late McLean A. and Neva Keever Howard. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Cuba Silver Howard and a brother, Herbert Howard. Mr. Howard was retired from the Catawba County School System where he was a teacher for 25 years. He also served in the United States Army during World War II.
He is survived by a brother, Grady K. Howard of Kings Mountain.
