Huston Milton Watson was the sixth of 15 children of Rufus Marion and Nancy Sena Goss Watson. His siblings were Alice C, Clarissa Jane Millsapps, Sarah Dyer, George W, Thomas Americus, Sena Elizabeth Ash, Partella Davenport, Allen, Rada, Charity, Samuel, Alonzo, and Nora.

On June 13, 1897 he became the husband of Lillie Dyer in Fannin Co, GA. She was the daughter of George W and Josephine (Bottoms) Dyer. This union was blessed with Franklin, William, Bessie Mae McDaniel, Oscar T, Clyde, Lloyd, Jessie Louise McDaniel Eades, Ruby E Bare, Ted, Everette and Edward Watson.
