3 Nov 1944: Five Brothers Are Serving in Armed Forces: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Beamesderfer, of Sheridan Route 1, are among the Lebanon County couples who have five sons in the armed services at the present time, two of whom are out of the states. Four of the five brothers are married and three have children. The sons with a brief outline of their service record as follows: Next to enter the service was Seaman Second Class Frederick S. Beamesderfer who enlisted in June 1943. He had his boot training at the Great Lakes, Illinois, naval training center. At the present time he is on active duty in the South Pacific area.
