Graveside services for Shirley Ann Farnsworth of Ochlocknee are at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church Cemetery. Her nephew John Chastain will officiate. Mrs. Farnsworth died Tuesday, Feb. 5 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 9, 1952, in Macon, she was a daughter of the late Shirley Maurice Farnsworth and Lillian Louise Simone. She was a homemaker, caregiver and known for her great cooking. Survivors include friend, Floyd Aldridge of Ochlocknee; nieces and nephews, Bruce and Angie Chastain of Tunnel Hill, Scott and Nancy Chastain of Quitman, John and Robyn Chastain of Thomasville, Frank and Karla Myers of Valdosta, Ellis and Janie Aldridge of Donalsonville, Yvonne and Curtis McMillon of Ochlocknee, Sherry Adams of Thomasville, Jim Aldridge of Brinson, Marie and Leroy Edenfield of Cairo; numerous great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Thomasville-Thomas County Humane Society.
