It seems to me that the small thin stones designate a child? Also a larger spot for a grown person?

It is believed that Malinda A and her husbandd Joseph A Austen are buried near their daughter, Margaret J Austen whose marker is seen here.
A footstone is on the right with her initials M. A.
There appears to be enough space of each side of her marker for both parents to be buried.
It is noted that the marker for Joseph has been removed to Rock Creek cemetery; so perhaps that is where Malinda's marker is also.
A HUGE DEBT OF APPRECIATION FOR ANY AND ALL WHO ARE CLEANING OUT GREAT AMOUNTS OF OVERGROWTH AT THIS CEMETERY!! IT LOOKS WONDERFUL on this date of Aug 2011!
