Ollie T. Busby, 88, died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, Florida. A native of Glennville, he lived 50 years in Miami and the past 20 years in Tallahassee. He was a C.C.C. firefighter, and served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He was Baptist by faith, and was a retired auto upholsterer.
He is survived by two daughters, Aida J. Fine of Lexington, Kentucky, and Nora Busby of Texas; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday, May 27, at 1:30 p.m. at Love's Chapel Church Cemetery, with Military Honors. The service was officiated by the Rev. Jimmy Bargeron.
Carter Funeral Chapel of Glennville, Georgia, was in charge of the arrangements.
