Annie was the daughter of Nathan Bennett Pierce and Emma Ethel Hart. She married Hyrum Smith Palmer on 5 Feb 1885 in St. George, Utah. They had four known children: Emma Ethel, Owen Lynn, an infant [possibly stillborn], and William Leslie. Hyrum died in 1893 leaving her with two small children. On 5 Sept 1894 in Safford, Arizona she married Lachoneus Moroni Colvin,a widower,and they had six known children: Elsie Jane, Nathan Riley, Cecil Moroni, Wiley Raymond, Christie Opal and Delpha Bell.

Anna died at the age of 87 in Phoenix, Arizona.
